How do I get started?
SmartPlan Advisor has tried to make getting started with the apps as
easy as possible. The first step is to subscribe, right here on our
website. Once you complete the simple sign-up process, you will receive
an email to confirm your order, and instantly have access to your SmartPlan
Advisor account.
Why is SmartPlan Advisor a hosted application?
SmartPlan Advisor currently does not support off-site hosting of its
applications. We have found that hosting within the SmartPlan Advisor
network provides higher quality connections, bandwidth and increased
uptime. Additionally, data security and database functionality are
improved through deployment of SmartPlan Advisor as a hosted application.
Can I customize SmartPlan Advisor?
Yes. SmartPlan Advisor allows you to customize the content for each sponsor.
And you can create an unlimited number of custom versions. For instance,
you can create a version that includes video modules describing auto-enroll,
if that feature is available in the sponsor company’s plan.
What is the Admin Portal?
The Admin Portal is where you can customize your versions of SmartPlan
Advisor, send outreach messages, check usage statistics, and get support.
Every client gets a login to this system when they sign up.
Can SmartPlan Advisor work with my current participant website?
Yes. SmartPlan Advisor will allow or deny users based on your user database
and security scheme. You can place SmartPlan Advisor behind your login
screen and users trying to use SmartPlan Advisor will not have to login
a second time, but will be granted direct access.
In the pricing what does "Max Transfer" mean?
This refers to the maximum amount of data that you can send/receive to/from
our servers. This includes all the data your users send and receive
in SmartPlan Advisor, so any audio and video used will be part of this
number. Each package allows for a significant amount of data transfer,
and should be sufficient for the needs of most clients. Additional
bandwidth is available at $1/GB.
What if I use more than my allocated bandwidth package?
Your selected SmartPlan Advisor package includes a specified amount of
bandwidth. This bandwidth allocation includes both incoming and outgoing
bandwidth to the SmartPlan Advisor servers, and your bandwidth is dependent
upon how many sub-accounts you have purchased. To find your allocated
bandwidth amount, check your account status in the Admin Portal. Any
additional bandwidth used beyond that of your selected package will
be billed at $1/GB used. For additional questions, please contact support@SmartPlan

Who do I contact if my customers/users are experiencing technical issues using SmartPlan Advisor?
The SmartPlan Advisor application contains a database of Frequently Asked Questions. Try that first. If you do not find the answer you seek, technical support questions can be sent via email to support@SmartPlanAdvisor.com. We maintain a customer support presence 24/7, and will respond to email inquiries promptly.
